Just been in touch with Adam......... who is out at the Races!!...so not up to speed with forecasts etc.
He said......... if Poole Angling is going ahead with their comp, we'll run ours !!
Last I heard Andy said it was ON .... so I'm sorting out my gear now.

With the forecast being a westerly six AWOL will give the comp a miss and fish on Monday instead

If you belive the Met Office forecast it may be a little rough for small craft:

Selsey Bill to Lyme Regis - Strong winds are forecast
24 hour forecast: Southwest veering west 5 to 7, decreasing 4 later. Rough becoming moderate. Squally showers then fair. Good.
Outlook: West 3 or 4, becoming variable for a time, then east or southeast 4 or 5 later. Slight or moderate. Fair. Good.

Had a look at 6.30 this morning,well windy and with stronger winds later I`m going shopping with the wife instead.Might go out tomorrow but it will be Easterlies so wind against tide. Nigel

So sorry for the lack of info on this guys, not been online for 3 or 4 days.
Basically the Poole Cod Comp dictated whether our would get fished - as they postponed, so will we.
I guess it also makes sense to continue to support there comp and move ours to the 10th Jan too.
A good call I think, it's blowing hard here today!

Long range forecast not looking too clever for the 10th Jan either at the moment. Still there are a few days yet, so hopefully will change for the better.
