As a novice boat angler/skipper and having only joined a little while ago,can anybody advise me on the rules of the sept 6th open boat competition.I have never fished a fishing competition of any kind and i fancy having a go, even if in my case it's just a bit of fun. Or if anyone can advise where the rules are published, that will do me.In particular i would like to know if "an open comp" means even non members can enter the competition, as a friend of mine would like to take part.cheers, Rob.
The Comp is open to all.
I can't state exact rules ( I am sure Martin or Neal will be able to ) but it is basically along the lines of catching the biggest specimen you can ( ie. Catch the biggest fish ).
2 anglers or more to a boat ( ie. Cannot fish alone ).
