Thanks to all who have booked in. I'm off now (yes - look at the time - 3.45am!
)
So have a great comp - stay safe - the forecast looks pretty good for the weekend.
Lets see if we can get at least 30 fishing, and I'll look forward to seeing the catch reports coming in over the weekend!
Very tight line to you all!

Al
P.S. Who and where do I have to hand in the entrance fee to Adam?
Al
I'll reply as Adam won't be online till Sunday eve
You can give to any committee member, bring it to the next club meeting or post to any committee member to pass on for you
Martin
Good luck to all those who are getting out this weekend, unfortunately I will not be fishing it as i'm carp fishing from this monday-friday so think my pass would allow another day away. Plus a busy weekend awaits! All the best guys and hope you get crew Dan.
Good luck guys,
Dom

WOOOOOHOOOOO!
After some great news for the family (we may be moving to a stunning farm house on the edge of the Drax Estate) I have been given a reprisal on my fishing pass.
Revoked earlier in the week for family committments it has been returned with a kiss and a smile.
A call to Charlie to see how he did today saw a last second space on Alfesco offered (apologise to my other offer of a place... this has been rather rapidly organised and not exactly well thought through).
Thanks Charlie, I'll see you bright and sparky at the yacht club!
Albeit for the final 12 hours, please book my name in for the 48 hour!
Tom
well i'm glad i never entered. I launched tonight for a couple of hours bassing, with the plan to leave the boat in the water and pop back at first light on sunday and fish the comp......well, i forgot the livewell, relised my chesties were split in 3 places and filled completly in 30 seconds and once id changed in 2 some spare dry clothes, i started the engine only to relise the stearing has seized solid. No idea how to fix that one. back on the trailer and home.!!!
F*****g hate boating some times!
Sorry to hear about the boat Dan.
Got an invite out on Alfresco and thanks Charlie and Dan for an absolutely cracking day. Had a really enjoyable day, couple of cod, pollock and eels, and Tom had a rather good day too ....
Do tell Tom, i reckon you deserved a good day after your recent troubles
