Great news Skipper! I'm really looking forward to it, I've never caught a flounder before! Hope I'm not being too optimistic.
Luckilly we'll have Dave with us so we should do O.K.
No guarantees though.
Weather's looking good. Keep everything Crossed ! ! ![]()
Am i correct in thinking that comp is only open to club member only and not forum members ?
Just asking because i'm taking my 8yr old son 'floundering'
on Sunday........beware the scare zone if you see us....he can get a bit excited!!!!!! ![]()

Fraid so - the next comp for non members is the 2009 Open Comp in September.....but here's a thought, why not join NOW! Via our new Paypal online payment system!!!!!
Go on, you know you want to!!!
Rob
cheers for the invite rob
Been there done that. ![]()
Just to make it Clear :
Jim
Dave
&
Simon
In Small Fry.
The two per boat rule ! I'm a member but my crew isn't. can I fish it and what time and location is weigh in. ? If all okay Rule me In.
Both Mike and I have been given permission to fish!
.
If you see Janski II anywhere in the harbour I suggest you try elsewhere - I am never in the right place at the right time ![]()
If anyone else is looking for a fishless day with no boat to go on I have room for one - give me a bell on 07871164377 if you fancy it ![]()
Cheers, Richard.
Terry - I think that is OK, I may be wrong but I think the 2 perople rule is more about safety than witnessing a catch.
Rob
Rob,
You are correct. 2 people in boat but not necessary for both to be club members ( although you have to be a club member to fish the comp. )
Appologies for the delay, busy boy at work, just been ofsteded!!!
Anyways, the Hamper is all sorted, I cant fish, unless someone sees me sat at Baiter and takes pity!!!! See you guys at the weigh in......Tight Lines!!
Rich
How did it go guys?
AJ was in the lead when i called in about 3:30pm
PJ
Alun Jones had largest fish. Adam has exact weights.
Second place was Tom Smith I think and Peter Hall had a good fish.
Small Fry had battery problems and just missed the weigh-in but their fish was smaller than Alun J's.
Jo Jo also weighed a fish in.
I will leave for Adam to post exact details.
Jim, thanks for a great day on Sunday although it was bloody cold! and thanks to Dave for the flounder lesson, he certainly knows his stuff. I'll be eating flounder for the next month!
Not complaining... had some last night and it was lovely!
Thanks again guys ![]()
