My cunning plan foiled!
Rich,
Is there a bunch of flowers as well ??; that would impress the other half... esp. if it was tasteful yellow roses.
See you there......
Alun.
Remind me beforehand.............. and I'll throw in a couple of sides of best cold smoked trout. Top gear as demonstrated at the club meeting

Percy will have a super shiny spankers head gasket by thursday, Mark, and the not so fat wallet will be a tad thinner!!!!
Martin, I will drop the hamper to you, beforehand, as I'm still unsure I can fish the comp.
Rich
What are the timings, rules etc for this one?
cripes guys I am thinking about breaking th ehabitof a lifetime and actually fishing for these flounder things - the smoked trout tipped the balance!
bet it's a flat calm day and I get tempted elsewhere though.................re charlie's question I am assumming that it's normal club rules? 7 hours between 0600 - 1800h, 2 rods, 2 hooks etc..........?
Martin/Charlie,
Can you confirm the start and stop times, please?
I think we finished at 4pm or 4:30pm last year for the weigh-in and prize (hamper) giving at Baiter.
Two rods, two hooks, as usual?
BF
Fish for 7 hours with the weigh in at baiter 4pm One fish per person only allowed at the scales
This year we have first prize of the hamper and a little something for 2nd place
Martin
