Yes Greg you are correct. If we’re 4-6lb I’d probably have dispatched it (if it were legal)!! A double figure bass that has got past all the commercials and nets etc deserves to go back and spawn another generation !!

Whooppeee so the eu ministers think they are doing us a favour by allowing us to keep 1 bass which on average will be circ 1.5 kilos whilst commercials are allowed a stupid amount of bye catch.......thanks eu but you aint cutting it.  If there is a problem with bass stocks then ban all landings not rob peter etc etc.  The sooner we are away from that crowd of clowns the better
