I have seen Neil at Wessex is running a boat species comp. I believe it is for individuals and you can fish on private or charter boats.

Starts first or Feb.

I will find out more.

•All fish must be considered a salt-water species and be caught from waters that are affected by tidal ranges.

•Fish of any size can be entered into the Species Hunt competition

• Card Entries must be submitted within 7 days of being caught or within 24hrs of the competition ending

•To enter a fish into either the Species Hunt, you must send an upload your image to the Wessex Tackle Species Hunt Facebook Page

•Location (Hampshire or Dorset)

•The Photo must be clear and show the fish, include your Wessex Tackle Species Hunt Card with your name clearly visible

Any questionable entries will be reviewed by a panel made up of Neil Cooke, Jay Hemming and Shane Munford and the majority vote will be final decision and the entrant informed of the decision

The most important rule is to go out there and have some fun, compete with your friends and try new locations and styles of fishing. Tight Lines and Good Luck

Will run nicely along side the Club Species Hunt and other Species Hunts. More work for Neil as cards have to be printed off and photos verified which I like.

Dave L,  Jan and myself are aready signed up. Main difference is it is an individual competition on any boat so could appeal to quite a wide group of anglers.

Allan.
