Great day out on Alfresco, Charlie has the weight details for the rays but I don't think we had any over 12lb 8oz ish.  Quite a few rays land, plus lots of mackerel, doggies and a starry smooth hound.

Superb fuel saving tip from Charlie on the way home and a special thanks to Dave. Great too be out and catching fish in good company.

Our brief report is that we popped out for about 3 hours and caught three rays. Nothing over 10lb 4ozs (Undulates)

Decided to get back and watch the Grand Prix on the boat on the berth as I was fed up of being thrown about out there !!!!!!!!!!

Our day was dire, we usually do ok in this comp but not this year.  1 small blonde landed by Rob (not weighed but guessed at around 8lb so not included in results) I had a bream of 2lb 11oz (weighed at home) We even struggled for mackerel so we retired early to the bar <img src="/emoticons/default_tongue.png" alt=":P" data-emoticon="1" srcset="/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">

Could all competitors who caught fish register them in the "Report your catch - here" section of the forum to save me trying to work out which fish had the highest specimen %

Many thanks

and well done to all that caught "the target species" - which sadly excluded me!!!

Don't forget to send your photos into the Undulate Ray survey there should be a lot of information available from the comp.

As per usual, Hobit and Endevour 111 caught no Ray's whatsoever !! Should have been a one days specimen hunt !!!

Brilliant day out , spent most of the day on the old southbourne pipes playing with tiny Mackerel , Gurnard, Bream etc

Raftted - up on the end of the ledge , huge Wrasse, big Bream, Conger , Bull Huss, Smoothhounds .

Shame it all had to end in the dark, stunning evening .

Cheers Gummidge ! ( a tale for another day !!!!!!)
