My thanks to Dave Evans on Wight Magic in giving me and Bill a seat on his super craft. A good day was had and a good bit of banter between us all including that handsome devil Jim (Small Fry)!

Thanks Son and the rest of the sub committee too for all your hard work on putting on the open. I know what a thankless task it can be having organised many beach and casting comps in the past myself. Well done on the prizes and the food both high quality. We really enjoyed our day and even managed another species.
I would like to say to all those that were making negative comments before the comp that it is now your turn to take on the job of arranging next years open. It's no good moaning about the arrangements a couple of weeks before the event!
