Unfortunately the weather is getting worse not better at the moment.

I will post conformation tomorrow evening.

If we do cancel, I will try moving again to the W/E 22-23rd if we still have a good number wanting to give it a go. All in the hands of the weather gods.

Saturday's wind looks very good on XC - quite calm. Admittedly there is a little drizzle - but thats only water....

Average wind strength around the 20mph currently, unfortunately uncomfortable and too strong.

Sorry guys, on my different weather apps I have in xs of 20mph wind on both days so this weekends Bream comp is cancelled again!

We can look at next weekend as the week progresses.

As I'm semi retired,  If anyone is going out at any time before the Bream comp I'm volunteering as crew!

I can work my tasks around it.

Still a little bit cold for the Tiddler to go out yet.  <img alt=":P" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_tongue.png" srcset="/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" title=":P" width="20" />

Invited out on Marichelle Today!

Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuvly! <img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_smile.png" srcset="/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" />

Mick picked me up at 07:30 and off we went to the secret Plaice mark.

Then had a change of plan and went to the secret Bream mark in stead.

" Secret " being the operative word.

Even the flipping Bream didn't know where it was.  <img alt=":(" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_sad.png" srcset="/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" title=":(" width="20" />

Mick had 3 small ones and I had one small one & a Doggy. <img alt="" data-emoticon="" src="/emoticons/default_huh.png" title="" />

Several cups of coffee and cheese rolls later we moved to the secret Plaice mark and . . . . . . . Yep!

Even the plaice didn't know where it was. <img alt=":(" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_sad.png" srcset="/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" title=":(" width="20" />

We did manage a few small ones and a couple of Goalies.

Mick called them "Keepers" but I knew what he meant ! ! ! <img alt=":D" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_biggrin.png" srcset="/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" title=":D" width="20" /><img alt=":P" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="/emoticons/default_tongue.png" srcset="/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" title=":P" width="20" />

I was outfished all day by Mick but I really enjoyed it so thank you Mick.

Good to be out again.

Sorry guys,

Yet again it looks like the weather has beaten us regards the Bream Comp this weekend. It does however look like the jet stream could be on the move in the next 7-10 days. If this looks like it is going to happen I will post again to see if we have a good following for the W/E 29th-30th.

Keep tying those rigs and earning brownie points so when the weather changes you can spend more time on the water, and on a positive thought, the Bream are having a really good break to nest and breed.

Hopes dashed again 😪.

If there is any sort of weather window open for a few hours I'm going to be out for something with fins, dogfish excepting, seems like this month we need to grab every opportunity, who knows when it will end.

That poor old donkey has walked a long way this month following that carrot...
