Back home showered and changed.
Fished the middle of Poole Spoils from 9am-1pm until the tide made it unfishable for me.
Dogfish were a pest as soon as baits hit the bottom. Did manage
12lb Undulate
5lb Blonde
2 x Smoothies to about 8lb
2x Conger less than 15lb each
No cod.....
Mal thomas 15LB cod and a 14lb cod.
Tarlach managed 2 conger, 1 spotted ray, 4 dogs and some whiting....... no cod!
Did get a bite that tested my leader to braid knot though , the knot lost !!! Gutted, it was a monster hit !! ☹️

Dean and I thoroughly enjoyed today. Fishing without struggling to stand up was a nice novelty
No cod for us but we did have plenty of congers, dogs, pout and one channel whiting.
Well done to Stuie for winning the Poole Sea Angling Centre competition by weighing in the only cod caught in that comp
