We had a cracking day on the new JV. Not far off a red letter day, we had a great average stamp of fish but didn't quite match the top end of Alfresco.

3lb was the best we (I) had, but I'd think we had over 50 bream today. The boat was great and the weather was lush.

Plenty of good Bream to everyone on Kelly's Hero. We all managed a fish over 2lbs 4ozs, the minimum weigh in weight for the Poole Sea Angling Shop Comp. Most of our fish were in the 2 to 3lbs. range. Our best fish was 3lbs 14ozs. to Dave Samuels which was second individual on a Private Boat. The cut off for prizes was 2lbs 141/2 ozs.

Shattered tonight after a great day afloat, with 4 out of the five of us getting PB fish and six over 4 lb it was the best days breaming I have ever been involved in.

Thanks to my crew today for all of your help through the day, and Will for another great lunch and all of the groundbait preperation. Then sharing his breaming tips with the rest of us.

I will list our fish tomorrow after a rest. Our breaming expert Will had the best fish onboard today, a cracking male of 4lb 12oz

We hope everyone else had a great time on such a nice day to be on the water

Dont get many fine days like today.

It was good to get dad out on his own boat today but a shame he didn't connect with any fish. My brother Andrew had 8 bream the best 2lb 2oz and I had 6 bream the best going 2lb 11oz caught on a whole side of mackerel to try and tempt a ray.

Anyway great day had by all.

Martin, you'd better get into serious training then before you retire....

Thanks Andy,

I was wondering if the ledge was fishing at all? it does not seem like its started properly yet not that I've spent much time there lately.

The water has cleared though, until it rains again

I was lucky enough to crew for Neal on Court Jester and we had a fantastic day with scores of Bream up to 2lb15oz and averaging 2ib 4oz. I had a real education in the fine art of Bream bites as well as how to communicate with Jet Ski riders.

Good to meet quite a few club members on the water and back at the weigh in, club fees were worth it for Sunday alone.

Cheers Ian

What an enjoyable day around the bay. Lots of bream biggest to me 3lb 7 oz got me 4 th in the angling shop comp.

Jacob had a cracking 11 lb 3 oz small eyed, and good old Dave topped up my specie hunt.

We had some good banter with Charlie and crew, we should have tied up to him we were so close. You don't get to many days like that at sea.

Thanks Dave and Jacob for the company, we will have to come on the new boat to get your species going

Hope she gets here soon

And Adam your new boat looks a beauty and sounds good to

Yeah !

The term " Shrinking Violet " could never be used to describe Neal . <img src="/emoticons/default_biggrin.png" alt=":D" data-emoticon="" srcset="/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />  <img src="/emoticons/default_biggrin.png" alt=":D" data-emoticon="" srcset="/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />  <img src="/emoticons/default_biggrin.png" alt=":D" data-emoticon="" srcset="/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />  <img src="/emoticons/default_biggrin.png" alt=":D" data-emoticon="" srcset="/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Jet skiers seem to struggle to understand that other water users are happy to see them at a distance but not close up at silly speeds.

Good on yer Neal. <img src="/emoticons/default_wink.png" alt=";)" data-emoticon="" srcset="/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />
