Must admit to be undecided whether to register or not. The forecast hasn't been looking good for a while.

Stuie & I have just talked and as we are a "small boat club" we are going to CALL OFF the comp for Sunday on the grounds of safety.

It is a bit marginal, however the wind has swung more Westerly and there will not be a lot of shelter even in the harbour, plus it looks heavy rain for most of the day which could affect visability.

So Comp is OFF for this Sunday.

Not sure if and when Neil will re-arrange the comp when he returns from holiday.

Thanks for letting us know early Dave

Gives me time to cancel my bait order and let the crew know

Thanks Dave will ring crew and let them know. Don't think they will be too upset.

Just got back from my holiday - It doesnt look like it will be this weekend I and then we are or should be into the Cod season!

So unless things look like changing - this one may not happen.

Unfortunate because I like this one - but we will see!

Thanks Neal

Hope that you had a good holiday

I seem to catch as many rays as Cod in the winter, so not sure it has to be totally cancelled just yet, but will be happy to go with your call..

Why not run both comps together on same day.

When you have had your fill of Cod you can then go after the Rays <img src="/emoticons/default_wacko.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" />  <img src="/emoticons/default_wacko.png" alt="" data-emoticon="" />

I quite like the idea of targetting cod with a ragworm and light spinning gear....
