It's time for round 2 of this years Species Competition
However - following last weeks Cobbs Quay Species Hunt - a few might prefer not to bother. So this post is to guage interest!
Given the on-going good weather I would like to see a few more of the Juniors being taken out - we currently have only one recording fish!
Alternatively, we move the comp to the Christchurch end of the Bay to see if it is possible to get anywhere near the 15 - 20 Species caught in a single day, which can be achieved at the Poole end!

Are these a series of comps, as they were once (you mention round two)
Or a one off comp?
Its a shame but there seems to be even less interest in comps now.
Thought it was a separate Comp. in its own right but could be wrong. As I wasn't able to fish the first one, could I be my usual troublesome self and seek clarification? We pensioners sometimes need things explaining more than once.

Only a couple of species for us, the wind beat us back in to the harbour. Gave up on the fishing and had lovely day out.
